This educational seminar is geared to educate these parents on the importance hair and skin care of an African child.

There shall be tools and products available for retail, as well as the new videos I just completed on " Easy to do Hair Care Tips ".

What is a Comb Twist?

Comb twist also known as Nubian twist, is a natural hair style that requires styling with a special fine tooth comb.

Usually a popular option for people who just cut off the perm and are transitioning to natural hair. Also popular with individuals who are thinking of locking their hair.

This style can only work well for short hair. It is possible to comb twist long hair, but it creates alot of tangling.

It lasts about 7 to 14 days. It's great for all ages, and it's a nice introduction to dreadlocks.

The Bold and the Beautiful

This woman here, is a fine example of the Bold and the Beautiful.

This week, she came in to see me with her hair in a perm. She told me she wanted to go Natural. I consulted her and offered her options on transitional styles.

She then looked at me when I was done and asked me to cut off the perm and work with what she had. This to me is truly the BOLD and the Beautiful.

The only natural style option she had with this new hair cut, was a Comb Twist because her hair was too short to do anything else.   She was whiling to try it, so there you have it.

In my opinion she looks great,  and a lot younger than when she had that flat perm.

I admire the women with such guts. Much respect to all of you out there who have made this decision and plugged into it head on.
